“A river cuts through rock not because of its power, but because of its persistence.”

Our many trips to beautiful Watkins Glenn in New York! From cliffs, gorges, to waterfalls, this park has it all. The most incredible feature of these gorges are the layered effects on the rocks cut by the stream through many many years. The age of these rocks are between 360-400 million years old! Definitely lots of persistence!  It’s unbelievable how amazing nature can be!
